Dress – Primark
Scarf – Primark
Ring – Yumi
The Fresher. Again. Second time lucky though, I’m sure. I had my first day of freshers week today and I left feeling happy and content. I studied Graphic Design last year but I was really unhappy, something just wasn’t right, so I went with my instinct and changed course for this year. I’m now studying Journalism and Design Studies. Half journalism, half design, the perfect combination for me!
I just wore something really comfortable today, my navy dress from Primark and a scarf I’ve had for a while. I wanted to look nice without looking too made up. I cringe a bit when I realise I’m wearing a mainly Primark outfit, but oh well, it’s still a cute dress.
I’ve customized my room a little more. I now have my Moulin Rouge poster up (from the actual Moulin Rouge shop in Paris, might I add!) and my mum and stepdad brought over my bookcase, which is gorgeous. It’s from Argos too, so cheap but lovely! I need more books to fill it with, bookworms recommend me some books to read please, I love anything except sci-fi/horror.
Oh and nearly forgot to say, my nails are grey and hot pink leopard print, using Barry M Nail Paint in Grey, Nails Inc. in Shoreditch, liquid eyeliner and a Sally Hansen top coat. I followed Gem Fatale’s little Youtube tutorial and I’m in love! Thanks Gem! Check her blog out if you like mine, she’s a great UK blogger with gorgeous hair, and recently won ASOS’s Battle of the Bloggers competition.
I really need to start doing a Blogger Spotlight type thing, since there’s so many lovely blogs out there that I subscribe to and want everyone to know about. Would you girls like something like that? Possibly with little interviews too? Let me know in the comments!
