Sorry for the lack of a smile haha. Took me ages to work out my tripod & its position then get a decent photo!

Hi again! I am all settled into my new house (check out my pretty duvet cover!) but we have yet to sort out our internet properly. Probably going to go for a beasty “up to 50mb” broadband service, since there’s 4 internet addict girls in my house, me included. So posting will resume at a slightly more normal pace when I get that set up.
It’s been lovely and sunny today so I kept things simple. Tied my hair into a rubbish looking bun. Someone point me in the direction of an easy messy bun tutorial? My hair is quite fine, so every time I try a tutorial I can never get it to look just right. I’m guessing backcombing is the key but it makes me feel guilty, like I’m beating up my hair haha.
Anyways, the outfit! The dress, which I assure you is a dress but it enjoys to ride up hence the leggings, is from Republic I believe. A brand called Miso? They have some cute stuff and this pretty much fits the bill for a little floral dress. Then there’s my new leopard print shoes from George @ Asda, ยฃ6! And my cardigan is from Zara, I have three (one grey, one a bluey green and this one) because they’re amazingly comfy. Definitely recommend them ๐
September is the month of new beginnings for a lot of us. I will be starting my first year of a Journalism & Design Studies degree, after a slightly unhappy year on another degree. So I’m really looking forward to my fresh start doing the course I originally wanted to do. I’m also living in a new house, which will be another challenge for me. Staying positive though, for my sanity and everyone else’s!!
Are you beginning something new and exciting this year?
P.S. some bloglovin’… check out daisybutter, Sofia’s Journal and Style Frost! All lovely blogs by lovely girls ๐
