Hi lovelies! This isn’t an outfit post as such, but I had to show you my gorgeous new coat from River Island. Firstly though, this is my new shirt from Hollister. It’s a lovely red and navy plaid flannel shirt, with a bit of a vintage look about it. I actually really like it when it’s buttoned right up rather than how I wore it today (with a white vest), looks very ‘This is England’ haha.
I’m a Hollister clothes fan but not a Hollister stores fan. How awful are their stores? If you haven’t been into one, basically it’s like a little cavern. Really dark, hard to navigate through and you find yourself tripping over people or tables or huge plants. Oh and really loud music, which isn’t the worst but slightly annoying when you’ve lost your boyfriend in the ‘dudes’ section and have to shout ‘WHERE.ARE.YOU’ down the phone haha. Anyways… the coat!
I know faux fur isn’t to everyone’s taste but I do have a soft spot for it, if it’s done right. This beauty is from River Island and retails at £89.99, although I got it for about £71 on the student shopping night. It’s about the perfect length for me, just covers my bum. I love the Topshop leopard one (the dark cropped one) but I don’t really like cropped clothes, especially with cold weather looming. It’s slightly too small for me with a jumper underneath so I’m going to exchange it for a 10. I think going one size up for winter coats is pretty much essential.
As no-one has probably noticed, my hair has been dyed slightly darker. Apart from loving having darker hair, I also didn’t want my hair to match this coat haha, so had to dye it ASAP. Sad but true! I also have new harem pants from Topshop but they will feature in an outfit post soon, as it’ll do them more justice on myself rather than the hanger.
My parcels for the giveaway should be here tomorrow or the day after, so expect my little giveaway next week sometime. I actually can’t wait for it, it’s fun being able to thank you guys for your support in such a way. Free stuff is always awesome! My Eyeko polishes and eyeliner should be here soon too, so I will do a little review of all that.
