Dermalogica Age Smart MultiVitamin Power Recover Masque (x2, there was supposed to be a MultiVitamin Thermafoliant!),
Leighton Denny Expert Nails in Babydoll, Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Moray, Robert Piguet Eau de Parfums
I was sent October’s Glossybox over 3 weeks ago but I had absolutely no idea! I went to collect some parcels the other day and it was hiding in the parcel cupboard. The concierge must have forgotten to give me a paper slip saying I had a parcel, d’oh.
Anyways, as you might have already gathered from other Glossybox posts, October was their 6 month birthday and they wanted to celebrate with their Glossybox subscribers by making this box extra special. So they popped in an extra product and a lovely little Dermalogica bag to keep everything in!
The Leighton Denny nail polish was by far my favourite product, as you can see it’s a nice baby pink and this colour was achieved after two coats and a top coat. It’s gorgeous, and not a brand I would normally go for but I’m definitely going to be looking at buying another now. I think that’s the beauty of Glossybox, you find unexpected brands!
This is the Dermalogica set, which I love. My only negative point, of course, is that I was accidently sent two of the same products. But I have tried the masque and it really is a great product (smells a little like the Sanctuary hot cloth cleanser) which helps soothe and smooth out my skin. So obviously two samples is fab!
The little lip care product, although small, is also a winner in my eyes. It is an anti-ageing range but still great for us young uns! Perfect little tube to pop in your bag for the winter months to stop your lips from drying out and getting chapped.
The Stila smudge stick… at first I was apprehensive but I actually quite like it now. It’s not a colour I would ever pick out, since I always buy black eyeliners, but it’s beautiful in a different way. It’s a sort of khaki green colour with little bits of shimmer. I’ve been eyeing up the Stila products at work so I might have to make a little purchase of their other products and see if they’re as good!
Lastly, there were Robert Piguet perfume samples. I’m not sure how everyone else likes these but they’re just not my cup of tea at all. I like sweet girly fragrances and these were really quite grannyish, musky and way too strong for my liking.
