Sometimes at my job I get to do some exciting things, and going to Chester Zoo for the #MatalanZooDay was definitely one of them! Along with Emma from The Stones Inside My Shoes, we took a group of mummy bloggers and their lovely families down to Chester Zoo on behalf of Matalan for the day, on what was possibly the nicest sunniest day we could’ve hoped for.
Ice cream was eaten, faces were painted (wait, just me?) and lots of cute animals were seen! It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves so much and lots of the blogger’s kiddies in the cutest Matalan outfits. It was such a good day out, well at least until Emma took me into my worst nightmare – The Butterfly House. I don’t think she’s ever seen me act like such a wimp… it was a pretty swift visit!
