This is long overdue, but a few weeks ago I headed down to the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, London, for a really special Matalan blogger event I’d been helping to plan for a while. The Matalan Movie Club was a day of two screenings, Finding Nemo for mummy bloggers & their kids in the morning and Midnight in Paris for lots of lovely London fashion bloggers in the afternoon.
We had canapes, which included the most delicious cheeseburgers, melt in the middle chocolate puddings and the blogger staple of macarons (pink, of course) then prosecco to wash it all down with. Everyone had a chat whilst looking at The Statements collection from Matalan. Basically lots of wearable pieces that go with everything in your wardrobe, think staples like tailored blazers, pencil skirts and cosy knits.
It was truly an amazing event and I was so proud to see it all come together so nicely, especially reading through all the blog posts from some of my favourite bloggers afterwards. Thanks to all the lovely girls who came down for it, it was great to have a bit of a chat and meet the faces behind the blogs ๐
