Michael Kors Studded Selma – Selfridges*
Now I really do have to start this post by saying… OH. MY. GOD. It’s not often you get to sip champers with your favourite fringe-owning celeb, whilst watching a mini fashion show of amazing designer clothing styled by a lovely redheaded blogger and then coming home with your first ever designer handbag. But that’s exactly how I spent my Saturday a few weekends ago and I feel beyond lucky!
As you might have seen from my previous blog post, it was the Michael Kors styling event at Selfridges Trafford Centre in Manchester, hosted by Angela Scanlon and Daisy Lowe. Angela styled up some gorgeous outfits with the new Michael Kors collection, showing us how to style it for a sleek daytime look or dress it up for those upcoming festive parties. I loved the sequinned dress, shocker, but my absolute favourite outfits were actually Angela’s monochrome check dress and Daisy’s classic sweater and jeans look (with added neck bling.)
After the event I was shown the amazing selection of Michael Kors handbags, which I’ve been forever lusting after thanks to Helen’s outfit posts on The Lovecats Inc. A big thank you to Charlotte from MK at Selfridges Trafford Centre, who introduced me to The Studded Selma! It was love at first sight, which was deepened when she informed me it was the last one in stock. Fate. I left the event feeling incredibly lucky and even now I can’t help but catch a glimpse of it and think “is this REALLY mine?!”
