Everyone knows about the unwritten law of wearing white on your last night of a holiday, right? Trying to show off your slightly-more-tanned-than-usual skin with the lightest colour of clothing you can find. I’m not sure it worked but I definitely felt a little more confident wearing it than I usually do back home. Wearing white with skin as pale as a ghost doesn’t usually look too great for me.
My dress was a last minute pre-holiday purchase from Missguided, it’s their Nikola halterneck shift dress in white and only comes in at £24.99, bargain! It’s made from a chiffon material and double-layered, so it doesn’t feel see-through at all, which is always a plus when wearing white. I teamed it with some stone & white peep caged peep toe heels from New Look, which were only £27.99 and look pretty gorgeous with light coloured clothing.
I’m not usually one for white or nude coloured clothing, but this outfit might just have converted me. What do you think?
