My McArthurGlen Spring Style Diary
I’ve shown you my amazing buys from designer outlet Cheshire Oaks, but now comes the real challenge… styling them up into five different looks. As we all know, spring can often bring quite temperamental weather with its arrival, so I tried to include a few warmer weather outfits as well as a few that are more suited to those days when an umbrella is your best friend.
Look One
I think this might be my favourite outfit of the five. I decided to wear this gorgeous silky khaki dress (similar here) from Zara, which is usually reserved for more exotic holiday weather rather than a rainy day in Stockport. Obviously I’d freeze in such a lightweight dress on its own, so I paired it with my favourite cropped jumper to make it much more weather appropriate.
I love how the tan Mulberry boots look with the khaki dress and I think it would work really well with a denim jacket in place of the jumper too.

Look Two
Brown and black. It’s one of those ‘fashion rules’ that you must never break. But I love it, so who cares! My absolute favourite jumper is camel and with black spots, so I paired with black skinnies, a camel trench coat and of course, the Mulberry boots.
It’s quite a simple look that doesn’t need much accessorising, but I’m also wearing my Swarovski rose gold necklace. It’s the perfect colour of metal to go with this combination.

Look Three
This look was met with ‘awww you look so cute!’ by Mat, because he probably hasn’t seen me wear a dress in ages. Winter is for jeans and massive jumpers, so this was the girliest he’s seen me look for a good few months.
On its own, this dress is great in the summer, but for a slightly cooler day it’s better to layer up with a long sleeve top underneath. Tan boots and pale denim are definitely a winner when you want to lighten up your dark winter wardrobe.

Look Four
These Mulberry boots were bought with this outfit in mind. Striped jumpers are a spring wardrobe must-have, so if you don’t own one then buy at least five because you’ll get good wear out of them.
Paired with my premium ASOS jeggings, it’s a nice casual everyday look. Perfect for catching up with your pals with a few glasses of ice cold white wine.

Look Five
My final look is a pretty simple one, pairing my accessories with this daisy print dress from Topshop. It’s definitely one that’s reserved for warmer weather, especially when you’re rocking bare legs!
Florals are always going to be ‘in’ for spring, so try out some different styles. I love the daisy print on this dress, but this outfit would be equally great with a bigger and bolder floral print.

The End!
I hope you liked my style diary and hopefully got some inspo for some of your own spring outfits. Also, a big thank you to McArthurGlen & Cheshire Oaks for my beautiful Mulberry boots* and Swarovski necklace*, which finished each look off perfectly.
Outfit posts aren’t something I do very often anymore, but I’d love to get back into posting them again, if you guys want to see more of them? I just need to master some more blogger poses!
Let me know which is your favourite look out of the five in the comments below 🙂
