5 Years of Sequin This!

It feels a bit surreal typing these words, but yes, my little ol’ blog turned 5 years old this month. Back in 2010 I had just finished a pretty terrible first year at university, the kind where you think ‘I’m really not cut out for this industry’, and I decided to set up Sequin This as my way of escaping the regular world a little bit and doing what I loved.

I used to read Fashion Toast and Karla’s Closet, glamorous blogs about unrealistic (for me) lives in the USA, then when I spotted regular gals like LLYMLRS and Flying Saucer I knew I had to get in on the action.

Ever since, I’ve loved putting my thoughts and opinions out there for you guys to follow. The support and opportunities I’ve received as a result of my blog are just incredible and I’m forever grateful to all of you lovely people who stop by to read and comment on my posts.

It wouldn’t be a birthday without a little bit of a celebration though, would it?
