The Best UK Adventure Travel Bloggers
Working in the travel industry, I find myself pouring over travel blogs every single day.
It’s really inspired me to start documenting more of my travel adventures in the UK and beyond, so I thought it would be great to share my favourite UK adventure travel blogs to inspire you too.
Looking at my list, they seem to be unintentionally all women, so enjoy this girl power-infused list of adventurous explorers.
The Girl Outdoors
I’ve been reading Siân’s blog, The Girl Outdoors, for years and I was lucky enough to spend time with her on two trips to the Austrian Alps (check out our Winter ski trip and our Summer hiking trip). So I can vouch for her adventurous spirit and infectiously positive vibes.
As a travel writer, blogger and published author, Siân is always off on an adventure and getting as close to nature as possible. Whether that’s camping on a cliff (no, really!), stripping off for a wild swim or taking part in polar expeditions across Arctic Norway & Sweden!
She makes adventuring look easy and far more exciting than the standard camping or backpacking experiences. Her kit reviews are also a must-read and make understanding the technical side of outdoor gear so much easier to digest.

Where’s Mollie?
Mollie has been a huge inspiration for me for a while. I think I first found her through GoPro, as she is one of their UK ambassadors and uses their cameras on her adventures.
With a hugely positive outlook on life, Mollie shares her adventures in the UK and around the world in such a relatable way. From her videos, social posts and blog posts, you really feel as though you’re on each adventure with her and it’s hard not to be inspired to immediately research your next trip using her sound advice.
And the best thing is that if you want to join Mollie on an adventure, she also created Where’s Mollie Global Travellers to bring together like-minded travellers on trips in the UK, Europe, Australia and more.

Zanna Van Dijk
I have to admit, I only really passively followed Zanna’s blog and social media channels back when she mainly focused on fitness content. Once she started sharing more of her travels, amongst other topics, I really started to resonate and become inspired by her content.
Zanna is such a perfect example of the power of an ‘influencer’ and she uses her voice to encourage others to enjoy life to the fullest, whilst also being mindful of our own impact on the planet we live on and taking actions to secure its future.
She showcases the natural beauty of our world on her blog, as well as amazingly helpful vegan food guides to popular destinations around the world. I also love her tips around living and travelling more sustainably, which can be a tricky balance to achieve.

Tales of Annie Bean
Another amazing blogger I’ve had the privilege of meeting through my trips to St Anton in Austria, Annie blogs her fitness & travel adventures alongside her husband, Nick, and adorable pooch, Winnie.
Annie is incredibly active, taking on every fitness challenge that comes her way, but what you can’t see is that she also lives with epilepsy. Rather than letting her diagnosis hinder her thrill-seeking, adventurous ways, she’s spoken openly about her epilepsy and even committed to completing 12 challenges in 12 months to raise awareness.
If you’re looking for the motivation to move your body & get fit but also have fun and see the world whilst doing so, you need to bookmark Annie’s blog.

Challenge Sophie
If you follow Sophie on Instagram, you’ll see her mission is “to champion ordinary people achieving their extraordinary”. Sophie herself admits to ‘not being a natural athlete’ but loves sports and uses challenges to push herself to achieve her own extraordinary. All whilst visiting some amazing destinations across the globe too!
Rather than making you feel like you could never attempt the challenges Sophie does, she’s great at lifting your spirit and motivating you to find your own challenge. This could be cycling from London to Paris in 24hrs (Sophie has done this 9 times!!) or it could be as simple as running your first 10k. Everyone’s challenges are unique.
Through her travel posts, Sophie shows you the possibilities outside of a chilled beach holiday and flips some destinations on their head to showcase how much more you can do if you’re seeking adventure.
